This is my Grady White, 1980, Model 195 Sportsman, (19'11" centerline bow to stern, 8' mid beam, 20" transom, 11" draft), with a 1987 Evinrude 225hp TLCUB, V6, 2 Stroke, power head, 3.5 Bore, and a Johnson Midsection.

It has a storage cuddy in the bow section, with an open, dual console cockpit, one below deck compartment aft a mid beam for a 40+ gal gas tank, and a forward wet compartment fore a mid beam to the cuddy for skis, fish etc.

Purchase Date by present owner: November 2013
Original Launch Date after (semi) complete renovation and Naming Ceremony: June 30, 2014

Essential History:  Originally owned by two brothers that used the boat for fishing etc primarily at Lake Powell 4-5 times per year.  The first brother sold it/passed it on to the second brother in 1996.  The second brother posted it on craigslist for sale in Denver, CO May of 2013, and sold it with a 185hp Johnson outboard motor, with a recently rebuilt lower section.  The gentleman that purchased the boat from the second brother sold it to me with a 1976 Johnson 115hp motor in November of the same year.  He purchased it to use the motor on another boat that he owned.  After renting a boat for 1000.00 a week on my honeymoon in the fall of 2013, I figured that I could own a boat for at least the same price or less at that time of year.  I purchased this boat, motor and trailer at a highly motivated to get this out of my friggin yard price below the weekly rental rate on our honeymoon.

Hundreds of dollars and hours of labor renovating every single aspect of this boat later, here is my story...
